Powder Coating

Powder coating is a kind of dry paint coating that includes electrostatic application of the thermostatic polymer powder on the surface of the products by heating the powder up in the oven for curing it for application at temperatures as high as 200 C. Once it is cured in the oven, it free flows and forms a skin that is basically a finished, hard, & durable coating. An electronic spray is used for applying it on the surface of the subjected object.   

It has a rugged nature that makes it more corrosion resistant, and with the durability and long-lasting quality offered, powder coating becomes one of the cheapest and the most viable options for your products. Another crucial point of difference between powder coating and wet painting is that the materials used in powder coating are less harmful to health compared to wet painting that often comes with a high number of carcinogens that can be harmful to health.  

One of the many disadvantages that often comes with wet painting is that they are highly flammable in nature compared to powder coatings. Powder coating also keeps binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form in the coating without solvents.
